I have always had my hands on some kind of craft for as long as I can remember. I could never draw or paint though but always wanted to. In 1996 I took a decorative painting class and realized that I could paint. I joined a local painting club - The Buffalo Snowbirds, and the Society of Decorative Painters. Flowers were always a challenge for me. I thought maybe I could do One Stroke painting to paint my flowers. I saw in a magazine Donna was having a certification right here in Buffalo so I signed up right away. In June of 2000 I went to certification without ever doing a One Stroke stroke. I enjoyed learning One Stroke and remember thinking I could teach this. I then set up classes for September and have been teaching ever since. I love teaching and seeing the look on my students faces when they "get it".

I have attended Continuing Education each year since my certification so I can learn all the new techniques and see the new products -and oh yes- visit with all the wonderful friends that I have met through OS.
